Hollister Rand is an author and internationally renowned medium. Known for her extraordinarily detailed work, she provides specific messages from loved ones living in the spirit world with feeling, heart, and grace.

Hollister is clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient (meaning that she can see, hear and feel the presence of spirits as well as get a sense of their personalities, emotions and physical attributes). Her unique gifts have provided comfort and closure for people all over the world.

Hollister’s first book I’m Not Dead, I’m Different: Kids in Spirit Teach Us About Living a Better Life on Earth, was released by HarperCollinsin April 2011 and has garnered glowing reviews and endorsements:
“Popular clairvoyant offers a clear-eyed look at young spirits and the afterlife.” —Kirkus Review
“Hollister Rand’s ability to deliver messages is compassionate yet educational.  Whether in person, on radio, on TV, or in this book…she delivers.”— John Edward, medium and author of Infinite Quest

Hollister has moved national and international audiences with messages of love, hope and healing through demonstrations of spirit communication and television and radio appearances. Her messages on SiriusXM’s “The Seance” with John Edward, “Coast to Coast” with George Noory, KOST FM’s “Angels in Waiting,” KBIG FM’s “Radio Medium,” and numerous other morning drive-time shows have touched the lives of thousands of people.  Her television appearances include America Now and Oxygen’s Tori & Dean:  Home Sweet Hollywood.

The scope of Hollister’s work demonstrates her commitment to integrating spirit communication into everyday life. Her messages delivered in a clear and heartfelt way, focus on the healing aspect of re-establishing a relationship that has been broken by death. Her well-documented ability to express the personalities of those living in spirit provides additional comfort to those in need, allowing them to finish what is unfinished and say what needs to be said.

With her personal charm, sense of humor, and compassion, Hollister makes it seem as though communicating with spirits is an everyday thing. And for her, it is. Even as a very young girl, Hollister started seeing and speaking with spirits. In her grade school years, spirits filled the stairway leading to her bedroom door and surrounded her bed each night. Not always welcomed, these presences made for many restless nights. Through the years, however, Hollister learned to “turn on and turn off” her spirit receptors, and get a good night’s sleep.

During the last 15 years, Hollister’s dedication to integrating mediumship into everyday life has extended through her public appearances, writings, published works, and teaching workshops throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Her interest in supporting the science of spirit communication led Hollister to present seminars and workshops with leading researchers in afterlife science. She is consulted as an authority on the subject of life after death by journalists, screenwriters and documentarians.  She has also been a guest speaker at CUNY, where her book is included on the syllabus for History of Religion.

Articles about Hollister’s work have appeared online in a number of outlets including United Press International, Religion and Spirituality.com, Arcamax, SpiritsNewsletter.org and the Press-Enterprise Newspaper of Southern California, among others.

Hollister’s desire to share the healing heart of mediumship leads her to write extensively. Hollister’s monthly email newsletter, MESSAGES ~ Love, Hope and Healing in Spirit, is filled with “how to” articles, inspirational stories, and explores how we all can connect with loved ones in spirit. Click here for the newsletter archive.

“Life is never over,” says Hollister Rand. “Those we love are still as interested in our lives as they were when they were here. Damaged relationships can be healed by talking with Spirit; broken hearts can be mended; questions answered. It is never too late to say ‘I love you’ or ‘I’m sorry.’ It is never too late to give or receive forgiveness. Those opportunities do not end with what we call death.”
